Expertise in Professional Photography

ABOUT ME

My journey in photography began in 2005 with a simple curiosity and the purchase of my first digital camera. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. After someone noticed my photographs and invited me to volunteer at a charity event, my work caught the attention of an event production company, opening the door to opportunities I never anticipated. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from individuals and families to major organizations and high-profile events. Over the years, my work has expanded to include filmmaking, portraits, weddings, collegiate athletics, corporate events, and large-scale productions, often in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where preparation, timing, and attention to detail are essential.

Alongside my creative career, I spent 32 years in law enforcement, primarily as a detective and investigator. Beginning around 2008, I also began producing photography and video content for law enforcement, documenting the people and work behind the profession. This gave me the opportunity to bring two very different careers together, creating content that helps agencies share their stories and connect with the communities they serve.

Now retired from law enforcement, I'm fortunate to be able to focus my time and energy on the creative work I've enjoyed for more than two decades. Whether I'm capturing a milestone in someone's life, documenting an important event, or helping an organization tell its story, I still enjoy the process as much as I did when I first picked up a camera.

I'm based in Austin, Texas, and look forward to the people, places, and experiences that come with every new project.
